Food stylist Lillian Kang has worked on a range of projects for magazines, books, TV spots, and print advertising.

 

She is currently based in Berkeley, California, though she began her culinary career in New York, where she became inspired by the rich imagery in food magazines. She landed a job at Martha Stewart Living magazine and enrolled at the Institute of Culinary Education. After managing the magazine’s test kitchen while simultaneously earning her culinary degree from I.C.E., she stepped into the freelance world.

Lillian has worked primarily in the editorial world of magazines and cookbooks for clients such as Martha Stewart, Williams-Sonoma, and Ten Speed Press.
